What Is Mount Horeb Area Wrestling?

What began with our youth wrestling program has grown to fit the ever-changing needs of our community. Mount Horeb Area Wrestling (MHAW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization that is comprised of parents, teachers, coaches, alumni and fans who support wrestling in the Mount Horeb area. The club is governed by an elected Board of Directors and operates under a set of by-laws, which prescribe how the club conducts business.

Mission Statement

MHAW is dedicated to building age-appropriate character, developing each wrestling team member’s maximum potential as an athlete, promoting leadership and community stewardship, and ultimately qualifying Mount Horeb area wrestlers for placement on USA World and Olympic teams. MHAW believes that athletics is an important part of school life and that a vital after-school athletic program enhances the entire educational experience.
